Thank you to frankie magazine for featuring Cupcake Social in issue #39.
I knew it had hit stands once I started having an amazing amount
of orders coming from customers in Australia. I am so excited, and the small article is very
cute. I just wish I could get my hands on a copy, atlas, they do not ship internationally.
I did get to see the pages on thier website by looking at the “digital version” somehow. not sure I ended up on it, but
I was celebrating when I got to my photos and the cute write up.

New Products from Sutton Gourmet

I am in LOVE with these new cupcake liners. Not only do they look pretty, come in a cute gift box, but they actually work better then any baking cup I have ever seen. Completely beautiful even after baked, with any.. I mean ANY kind of cake. I cannot wait to see what they will come out with when they make new products. And you can bet that I will make sure I carry every design. Hopefully one day they will be made in mini size too!?

Cool Color “Lime”
Sunday, October 3rd, 2010I figured I would start coming up with color themes for people who may want to base a party off 1 or a few colors.
That seems to be the most popular way to figure out how to plan a party. Over the summer, the most popular color has been “lime”. So I came up with some cute things from my shop that look well together.
1. Mini Lime and white polka dot cupcake liners.
2. Neon birthday candles, sold in packs of 4 neon colors.
3. Lime green jimmies.. sprinkles
4. Shiny Lime green Star Rings, sold in packs with other colors.
5. Handmade flower cupcake toppers with green jewels.
Coming soon to the shop, only a few sets will be made.

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins

One of our favorite types of muffins are these Lemon poppy seed. With Lemon drizzle of course!
I used one of my favorite designer cupcake liners, the red plaid, called “Mary”.
The sad part is, I can’t take too much credit for these. Although they tasted totally yummy!
They come from a box, “Betty Crocker” does wonders for us in the morning when my kids are super hungry. They ate all these up in just 2 days. My daughter, who is 5 also id most of the work. She likes to measure, mix and pour.
She loves baking with me. She is almost a pro at our sugar cookie recipe! Here are some pics to drool over.

During my favorite time of the year..there is no other holiday that is totally devoted to my most favorite thing in the whole world…SWEETS!
